When I color my Ian's and Anya's I don't want to give them away b/c I'm afraid that whom ever they go to will throw them away and after all of my effort to make them sooooo cute...I just hate to part with them, I try to find a special home for them but I also know that they can't keep my cards for ever, so a solution...why not make them laminate? with a magnet on the back so the person could use them and not just have them setting around...or if the get enough of them from me the could have some "little dolls" for their child to play with!!! Yeah!!! Now I can sleep at night!!!! Hope you have a great Thursday!!! I have Zoomba tonight and then Gray's Anatomy, and maybe spa time, plus a margarita :)!!!!

Emily,
Such a good idea!!!! I am sure people will love your Anya's and Ian's and I love your Purple Haired Princess so so pretty. Is that your origional Gray Haired nurse or is it a new one???

This is such a great idea!!! I love it! You are right. Sometimes I worry too that somebody is going to throw away my creations but his is an excellent solution for that! Beautiful coloring on all of these Ians and Anyas! Simply amazing!

It is SO hard to part with them isn't it?! I LOVE your idea! You could also punch a hole in the top, tie some ribbon on and make them into bookmarks! I'm seeing lots of possibilities! Thanks for the inspiration! Now to dig out my laminating sheets.....
Greetings!!
I saw a card of your at the Club Anya gallery, and I just had to drop a line to you. You mentioned about having this "disease" that you are "recovering" from.. ya know buying paper because you'll have just the right project for it... WELL, I have the same disease!!! The consequesnce of this "disease" is lots and lots of paper!!! I also think long and hard about just WHO I send my cards to, because I like you, want them to appreciate them. We share so many thoughts a like... had to drop a line... I thought I was the one with all the "diseases" HA!
Enjoy your day!

Hey, thanks for the great Anya mermaid card. Grace spied it on the piano and said "can I have her?" Of course, my answer was not yet (at least not till she's laminated). :) The card arrived in a plastic sack with apologies from the post office because the envelope was torn up. Funny part was that most of the stamp got torn off and then someone stamped it postage due!!! But the amount never got filled in so someone must have realized a stamp WAS on there to start with!
I read about your laminating idea on Heather's blog and I love it, also love the idea of the bookmark I read in an earlier comment. Now all I need to do is buy a machine :). Thank you for the inspiration!!
