I made this card for My friend for her birthday, she has had a very trying week......so I better get another one made and mailed while the babies are sleeping. Kutter has been sick, (ear infections and tonsillitis) so I have been home for the last 3 days. Though it's been a long week I did get some cards made and scrapbooks pages done while he slept, as well as some house hold chores. Well, I won't go on, I just wanted to give a shot out to my dear friend and post this card I made awhile ago....she Rocks and she should Couture herself, b/c if you don't...NO ONE ELSE WILL...which is why I splurge on myself :P Have a great Wednesday!!!

Yes, I did make cards, however I didn't take any pics of them, yet...so I posted some of my favorite men and while they are uploading, I'll try to make a few more cards and get them posted. I just love waking up and finding out that I got to sleep 2 hours in a row...!!! Kutter had pneumonia last week or was it the weekend before, I can't even remember...but he was very sick. Thankfully he didn't end up in the hospital.... Since then I've been having a b-day party for EAston who is now 5, I can't believe it...and planning his birthday party at the boat club for this weekend. He made his invitations, so I'll add a pic of that. I have been watching my nephew Gatlin with Kutter as his mommy had to go back to work this week. I will start on Monday and work 4 days in the next two weeks and then start back full time on the 24, I can't believe it's been almost four months!!! I only got a few cards made and a few scrapbook pages done...but I did get my closets cleaned, and straightened out Kutter and EAston's closets, I didn't manage to exercise everyday like I planned but I did do some and went on walks....but that's life. In between house work, laundry, feedings, and diaper changes, my days flew by. Well I better get those cards made and pics taken before Kutter wakes up!!!! I sent the other 3 cards I made this afternoon to my mother's maybe I'll stop by and take a few pics....

Hello world...Yes I finally am going to post, more for myself than anyone else...this is why I haven't been posting for well 9 plus months.

Meet Kutter, our new addition who is now waking up so that's all I'll post today or at least for now. I have been making things well after the first 2 trimesters, for some reason the scrapbook room made me feel sick, it's the craziest thing. I thought I'd be able to do more in the scrapbook room.....but I've only got a few pages done. Well Kutter is getting MAD!!! I have to go motherhood calls!!!!

I have not been posting regularly....I have been sleeping, nauseated, gassy and a little grumpy. Yes, I am pregnant, but I'm really early 8 weeks starting today. I am a little gun shy to talk about it b/c of loosing the first 2. I am trying, to have faith that this pregnancy will really come true for me, but I have doubts from the problems before. On the flip side we (my family and our friends) had another AWESOME time at the boat club this 4th of July. Kevin and his friends had a firework show that lasted 3 hours. Yes, my husband does waist a ton of money, however, so do I on stamps so it's sorta even. My brother in law's birthday is on the 4th so Happy B-day Nathan. My mother in law's b-day is also coming up...plus Kevin's dad is coming from AZ. next week so I'll have to get the house in shape before next week!!! Kevin has games Tues., Thurs, Friday, Sat., and Sun, and practices on the day in between so I won't see much of him this week, which was another great reason we got to spend the weekend at the boat club, it helps us reconnect. Although I notice that I get a little more tired when he is around to take care of me and do all of the things like, loading and unloading, that I have to do when he's not around :P. I deserve to be babied every once in a while, right??? Yesterday I think the weekend caught up with time b/c I fell asleep 3 times during the day and slept for several hours....I have pics of course....I'll post them tonight when I get home from work. O yea, and I went to Teegan's play performance where she was a pirate and yes I did make her a card, above!!!

Hello all who read my blog....I have been running around doing all kinds of things, just this weekend we went to Relay for Life, the Boat club, swimming and had a father's day feast!!!! Speaking of Father's day, I'm setting here watching "The Grand Torino" with 3 of my 6 favorite men. My dad, my husband, and my son, I love them sooo much, now I'm just missing my brothers :P My father's day cards are simple yet I totally love this color combo. My Dad is truly the BEST FATHER EVER!!!! My husband is learning from him and I am so blessed to have them in my life!!! I made this frame out of an old screen that my husband wanted to trash, telling me " you'll never do anything with it..." I just stamped it with stazon and used a stampin up alphabet stamp set and a unity bg stamp, printed off some of my favorite pics from this year and stapled them to the screen. I topped it off with some cute stickers and it is now mounted on my living room wall. I'm very proud of it!!!!!

Today is the actual day of our 6 year anniversary, and it really seems like yesterday I was going out with the girls and swearing off relationships when I hit on my husband.....and then we got married!!!!! I don't know where to start about my wonderful husband, don't get me wrong, we aren't always the "perfect couple," but we get through the tough stuff and keep on truckin'. To me marriage is like coloring a picture, you are bound to mess up at some point but you just fix it and make the picture look better than when you started. My husband is helping my dad coach American legion baseball, as he has for the past 5 summers, he has grown as a dad, a coach, a role model, and as a man. I am proud that he is with me, even if I don't always tell him this. Why is it that we don't tell the people closest to us how much we need them.....I think I don't b/c Kev acts like I'm just trying to be Corny....but I don't know where I would be today without him. Aside from everything he is, we also have made the most hansome little boy, who has also changed the world we lived in. Thank you Kevin, I love you soooooooooooooooo much!!!!

The card is an extra large image that I printed off from the Greeting Farm, I even included a mole for the finishing touches. I tried once again for the challenge, because I would love to win 3 stamp sets!!!! The challenge is to only use one layer and some embellishments....so I decide that the image it's self could be the card.... I hope you have a great Sunday, we have 2 birthdays : one at the Zoo and one at the pool, possibly 2 ball games that I may only get to one, and I would like to fix something for my husband to celebrate.... We went out to eat Friday thanks to my brother Adam and my sister in law Marcee, who had a slumber party with Easton and then on Saturday we went to 3 ball games starting at 8am and ending at 8pm, plus Easton and I played at 2 parks, he took a nap, I finished father's day cards and cleaned the house and after the last game my mom and dad took us out to eat...just in case you were wondering why I have been posting.....Later.

I am a little slow at editing my pics and I haven't really made any great cards...well actually I do have some I just need to take a picture and post them... I keep falling out of time, or at least I have don't have time to post and make as many cards. We've been swimming, almost everyday....and now I watch my brother's daughter so that makes it 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a Bunny....house work....you know the rest. So here are a few pics of my thousands that I have taken of my parents party and Easton's Tee ball practice...tons more to come if I ever get time off...not likely anytime soon. Plus my helpful Husband helps coach with my dad during the summer and is hardly ever home in the summer, I really miss him, however I don't have to eat a whole meal and can do whatever I want, including talk on the phone. But I haven't gotten home before 9 in the last 2 weeks...so.... not too much had gotten done in the way of card making. We are having fun other ways!!! Catch ya later!!!!

I made this for my dear friend, Janelle. She is a nurse with me in oncology. I used the curious card challenge over at the greeting farm. I loved and had even printed it out prior to them choosing it...I'll have to try it again!!!! We had a fun filled weekend and a jam packed week. I just do the weekend b/c I have to leave soon....We went out for my friend Erika's surprise b-day party and then decided to walk home (approx. 27 blocks), it was nice for husband and I just to have some alone time. We went to the boat club painted the shed, and had Kev's cousins out, and then gave the girls a hair cut and went swimming on Sunday. I took some pics that I'll have to share tomorrow seeing as it is time for me to head to work.....

Hello Peeps, I am just setting down to eat a bite for lunch at 2:30....we have been at the boat club all weekend celebrating my mom and dad's birthdays. Plus my youngest brother Mace is leaving Tuesday to play ball in Mo. He is going to Jucco now and lives with us...I'm really going to miss him!!!! Now on to my dad, AKA. Coach Krol. He is not only a very strong man, christian, coach, father, teacher, he also is one of the softes, kind, loving and supporting man I have and will everyone know. I know that you are thinking yeah right, her parents can't be that great, but they are AMAZING!!!!! I love that my dad can't whistle, but when he makes that weird sound a ball games that is more like gleeking everyone that has ever played for my dad turns their head. I love that my dad has been Santa for every and it is the only Santa that is real, in my books. I love that my dad would play catch with me even after teaching all day, having practice, and then finally getting home at 6. My dad gave us our baths, tucked us in and said prayers with us. I love that my dad is an awesome dad despite the fact that his father died at a very young age and my dad had to live a very hard life without him. I love that my dad beat up a kid in grade school b/c they were picking on an handicap boy, my dad got suspended and the little boys parents came to thank my dad for sticking up for him!!!! My dad is a hero to more men than I could every guess. He commands everyone and is respected by those that have any brains!!! I love that my dad had a dream to build a baseball field, and now there is one. I love to watch my dad take care of my son and my husband, in hopes that they will both become the father my dad is!!! I love that my dad would let me go last in line for spankings :P As you can tell, I love my dad and just to finish this...I would like to add some Texas Mow-Mow, but this special language is only for my family and my dad's players....whom are our extended family, Thanks dad I love you and happy birthday.

Happy Birthday mom!!!!!! I love my mom soooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom is our family bra. Yes, I did just compare my mom to a bra, she is strong, holds us together, I can't live with out her, she helps me to be a better woman, she is very honest (maybe the most honest person I know), loves without reservations, I am very blessed to have been born with such an amazing mother!!!! She has not only shaped our family but continues everyday shaping our kids future!!!! There is no other person I would ever trust to tell me the honest truth besides my mother, my mom and I are very alike in some ways and in other we are exact opposites. I love that she will be honest enough to tell me that she loves my brother's boughten cards more than she loves my home made heartfelt cards....because that is who she is!!!! I love that when we (Adam, Mace and I) got a B on a test in school we got the disappointing look and if Noah got a B he got praises!!! ( Now I realize that Noah totally knew what he was doing, lowering mom's expectations of him, that darn sneaky kid!!!!!) I love that after a ball game, that my mom never missed unless she was with another kid at another game and would be there as soon as she could, my mom would be sure to point out our mistakes if we started in on how well we did. My mom is so amazing that she would pack us cooked hot dogs in a thermos so that she could save enough money to help us through college w/o taking out any loans (Mace is the only one left in college)....out of 4. My mom had us write book reports all summer long, but more importantly she took us to the library!!!! My mom helped us with all of our 4-H projects from age 6-till 17. She made us breakfast every morning, packed us lunches everyday, had homemade diner for us after practice (I mean everything from scratch) bread from flour, chili from canned tomato sauce, and fresh baked Cinnamon rolls!!!!! My mom was there after school everyday, she knew where we were, who we were with and what time we would be home, even when we were in high school, mom would wait up with dad until we got home and then we would talk for hours about the evening!!!! My mom never would make us do homework until we played for awhile, then we had to practice the piano for 20 min. everyday, do the dishes, and then homework. I love that AC didn't make it into our house until I was in High school, cable came my Jr. year. My mom totally focuses on what is important, so we did without in some areas so that we could make it in others. If that meant shopping at Goodwill or going to where ever the deals were best for groceries. My mom has ran the concession stand for I don't know 20 years. She made enough money to make the Field have lights, pay for umpires, build a concession stand with bathrooms.....all by sacking up seeds, making her relish, buying the drinks, cooking the food, and well stocking everything!!!!!! Besides working behind in there all spring and summer!!!!!! My mom is the BEST!!!!!!! We (our family) would not be where we are today without my MOM!!!!!!! There is nothing I could ever do that could measure up to be better than her, I can only strive to be like her!!! Thank you mom and Happy B-day, I hope you like this card!!!!!

Yes it is true, that is me riding the mechanical bull!!! Hello every one, it's my day off and it has already started out wonderful and it's only 7am!!! I fed the bunny, made coffee, took the dog out, switched the laundry, made 2 cards, made 5 pages in my thank you scrapbook, spent sometime with my husband before he left for work, laid with Easton when he woke up at 6 for a few minuets, (I told him he could go back to bed b/c it was my day off and he said, "I love your days off, tell me what fun things we're going to do today", as his eye lids slid shut....) I love those moments!!!! I am trying to get the next few posts made b/c 1. it's my parents b-day's this week, 2. I've already made the cards, 3. the week never gets slower after Wednesday, 4. we are going to the boat club Fri.-Sun. so that only gives me Thursday to post.....anyways, I made these scrapbook pages for Kev's parents that live in Arizona, whom we stayed with, as my way of saying thank you. I am going to try and get this all done in the next couple of weeks...hopefully!!!! I don't know what we have planned for the day, maybe the library, the zoo, and a picnic in the park, followed by a nap, putting in the garden and ending with a church carnival!!!! I think that sounds jam packed so I better get the laundry ut away before Kanon gets here and Easton wakes up!!!! LATER!!!!!

Isn't life funny...I am ready for another VACATION!!!! We do have a Monday of, so that will have to do. There are 2 girls that are having a baby soon, so time off is going to be very hard to come by. Soni and I hung out with Kev's cousin's kids...We did some stamping, movies, popcorn...a regular AWESOME Friday night, minus the hail, mushroom clouds, and possible tornado weather!!! Saturday we went shopping for my remodel kitchen. I decided not to move and to take out a loan and add the things to my house that I really, "really" want. So I'm adding a double door from the dinning room, gutting out the kitchen, new wood floors, new windows, a covered patio, a garage, and possible a hot tub!!!!! Just a few things. Why you ask don't I just move, well I like where we are located, I love my hardwood floors...privacy fence, developed yard and flower gardens (which we have worked and worked to make them beautiful), my laundry shoot, and my unique loft bedroom just to name a few things I love, oh yes and my 80 year old and 91 year old neighbors who totally ROCK....so we're staying put!!! I am trying to get some order in my life but Life just happens!!!! Yesterday was another packed day off. Kanon, Easton, and I hung out till 9am and the headed with the 2 girls (dogs) to mom's to watch her day care kids. We ( all nine of us) played outside most of the day. I took Easton, Teegan, and Kanon to the park after we got to town, planted some flower my mom gave me starts to, packed to go to my sister-in-laws, went to a going away party for a friend, played tee-ball and jumped on the trampoline, set in the hot tub, and finally took showers and headed home, I forgot to start with making a few thank you, putting away laundry, doing the dishes, and picking up the house before we left at nine.....This morning I already fed the bunny, exercised, and posted.....now if I can do this every morning before work....we'll see!!!! Hope you have a great weekend!!!!!

Yes Girls, I'm still alive, but my weeks have been jam packed with to dos!!!!! We got back from AZ. on the May 1st, at about 11:45. We had a great trip, pic need to get on my computer....still pending!!! Sat. we had 4 ball games starting at 9am and ending around 7pm and then we went to my brother's for a BBQ till 12 am Sunday....at 8:30 am the Sunday I helped with a surprise 80th b-day for my dear neighbor till 1pm and then the party lasted until 6pm, (May 3rd is Easton's b-day) so we celebrated with cake that night and hung out with him and unpacked our baggage. I had off till Thursday, though I don't remember what was all jammed in that week...and then the next weekend we went to boat club and had Easton's b-day on Sat. My mom's house flooded on Friday night so we helped her until 12 am Sat, the party lasted until well I went in the camper around 2 am and then we were up before 8am for mother's day.... we stayed out there until 6pm on Sunday and then came home only to unpack again... Now it's Wed. and I have to work for a friend that has a Dr. appointment and then tomorrow I have a day off!!!! I have made some thank yous for my neighbor and use some old thank yous for Easton's party, just to get that off my list!!! Now you know where I've been........I have also been trying to work out at night or in the morning which cuts into my stamping time, but I need, I really need to feel better about wearing a swimsuit...so priorities!!!! Catch you later, maybe!!!! :P It's easy not to post when you get out of routine....and I need find out how to squeeze it all in!!!!

Teegan, Kanon, and Easton

Hello Peeps.....I am getting ready to head downstairs and thought I'd do a quick post telling you I'll be MIA for at least a week, maybe two or more....We went to the circus on Saturday and had blast!!!! It was going to hail so we took my brothers old min-van, which sometimes will open on the side door. We loaded through the drivers side and we all cheered when we arrived and the side door opened, then when we left it was pooring as we made a mad dash to the car and got to celebrate again as the "white lighting" opened!!!! I just had to tell that story, so I'll never forget!!! Anyways, we didn't get home till 12 am, so Sunday we hung out home and did some house work...blah, blah, blah. I colored the circus anya, but she lays on my table w/o a card to back her :(!!!!! I wanted to try the sketch, but I haven't won yet, so, no skin off my back. Today I watched 6 kids and 3 dogs at my mom's house, b/c my grandpa's cancer is back and he had to have a small tumor removed. It was a LONG day, and I don't have anything to show for it, well I did get Easton's b-day card done and addressed. They are simple, b/c I had to make them in one day and get them mailed.....but their done!!!!! Now for the VACATION, we are headed to AZ on Friday morning so I'll be gone for a week. The day we get back it will be 11pm and on Sat. we've been invited to go to the KSU game and carnival, which I don't want to pass up, then my neighbor who turns 80 on Easton's b-day, Sunday May 5th, we are having a surprise party!!! Then back to work, I think....I've planned earlier to have the 6 and 7th of, so I may keep them to get things done around the house!!!! And finally Easton's b-day party is Saturday May 9th.....and that's it for the beginning of May......Well, I have to finish packing and put stuff away, have great one!!!!!!

What's up world, or area wide girls..... :) It's S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night Carson, Kev's sister's son came over and we went swimming, watched movies, and had a "camp out" in the house. They had a blast and I got worn out....but I love having kids over, it entertains Easton, though the don't know how to play without screaming!!!!! Overall, besides all the ways they got in trouble for jumping in the pool, that were not just jumping in and fighting over toys that one wants over the other, just like brothers!! I made this card for one of our nurses that got flown to Denver b/c her Dr. couldn't figure out what was going on with her and she collapsed.....I see what my friend Heather was saying about me being affected by working in oncology, and I guess around oncology someone is always sick or dying, I guess I can't help but talk about it or think about it, and it seems all the time, sorry!!!! Anyways, this is my way of making the world a better place, for people going through a rough time..... Barb is a very short blond nurse, who is very soft spoken and kind. She would always stay late and let the young mothers go home to be with our children, and that speaks volumes about her. I used one of Dr. Estephan's scripts and stamped get well on it and had him sign it and then I shrunk it 50%, I love shrinking things!!! I always wanted to have a tiny doll house when I was growing up and I'm half temped to buy polly pockets, but I've restrained myself thus far....but you never know!!!!!!!

I made this for one of my favorite patients Diane, she has metastatic lung cancer and recently has been hospitalized b/c she has lesions in her brain that are bleeding out. She has a major headache and now is undergoing radiation treatment to her brain. She is the funniest, most out-spoken patient, I love talking to her and her family. I went and visited her in the hospital and she told the story of her having to get fitted for a mask prior to radiation. I could never, NEVER tell a story like Diane, anyways you have to know first that she is deathly claustrophobic, she requires 4 mg of ativan to even get in an enclosed machine, anyways to shorten the story she had to be strapped down and had a thin plastic material that formed to her face to make the form for the mask. She said they strapped her down and she felt like Hannibal and after they finished making the mask she looked like Hannibal. She has a knack of making the worst situation sooooo funny. While looking at the lesions in her brain she saw one spot in her brain, that looked like an alien, who she named Bob, and now is constantly talking about Killing Bob, one appendage at a time and that he is the one causing all of her headache trying to get out of her brain as they fry him!!! I have tried to "win" several of the Anya competitions and I was soooo excited to post them to see if I could win, but this card I made for Diane and no matter if I win or lose, I know she loves the card.
I used the Chef and made him, a her with on the farm girl, from who I cut off her pig tails, (b/c Diane doesn't have much hair and wears a do-rag), and I used Dorothy's head and cut off one of her pig tails (b/c I rock the side pony with a flower in my hair) and use the nurse Anya's body and included a syringe of Ativan with 4 mg's of Ativan for Diane. I drew the mask and attached some straps that you can't see, and on the inside I drew an alien and a machine that zaps Bob. I went with some black stars b/c of the constant headache and the checkered paper, b/c we all know what Hannibal is known for and Diane also loves to eat, and I don't mean that it a bad way!!! She'll tell you she's a big girl and that's why she requires that much ativan!!!! I have smiled at least 8 times just writ ting this. The Dr. I work for told me I need to not think of my patients when I leave work, and it mad me upset, b/c I feel that's what makes me who I am and I know that we are all dying and that no one knows when thier time is, but it's never to late to show people that you care and this is my way of coping. It also relieves my stress and makes people happy, so I am going to keep doing it!!!! Just b/c his a Dr. doesn't mean I have to listen to him!!! :P I hope you all give your loved ones a hug tonight and be thankful everyday for what you have!!!!!!

I'm kinda back tracking to Saturday when Easton's Cousins came to visit. Carson and Mason hung out with us for awhile and the boys went into Uncle Mace's room to borrow some hats. Then after awhile they came out dressed up in Easton's clothes, they said they were bad boys and that they were going to steal stuff....Heather my sister-in-law commented that this was just the beginning of them being naughty, I'm afraid that she's right!!!

I can't believe that Easter is over, but that means VACATION is coming soon!!!! We leave in one week from Friday, WOW I can't believe it...my husband and I haven't planned a real vacation, ever. I like to stay at home and be able to know where we are going. My husband and I fight when we get lost, it's no fun to travel together b/c neither one of know where we are going....the good news is that we are going to AZ. to visit Kevin's dad and step mom. Thankfully they have lived there for 2 years and know the area and will be taking us to where we want should go. They (my husband and his dad) have planned a train ride through AZ, a safari hunt, the AZ zoo, places to eat, places to stay the night at, a wagon dinner, and of course SHOPPING!!!! Plus will do some swimming and relaxing and the come home. Anyways, back to Easter, we spent it at my mom's house, we ate and hid eggs and had a great time. I love spending time at my mom's I am soooo blessed to have a wonderful family, thanks God!!! I made this card for Easton for Easter out of the Pink cat billy and Lilly stamp sets, he wanted a card with flowers after he saw me working on one for my friend so I had to put one on his card!!! He kind of over looked it on account of all of the candy that was way more appealing! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter!! Till tomorrow, goodbye and thanks for stopping.

Yesterday was filled with activities...to say the least. We went to story hour and had an egg hunt at the end, we went to the clinic to show off the puppy and I couldn't leave Zeze at home so besides 2 boys, I took 2 dogs...stupid me...needless to say we had a puppy play date at Heather's house which ended up having a search party for Zeze who escaped from Heather's yard and headed down Halstead (a very busy street) to go home...my husband almost died when he back hoed over a major gas line....NO, I didn't got to bed, instead I drove to the church for an Easter egg hunt, it ended up being a better evening...so now on to the cards, the first one is a card I made for a Physician Assistant that Graduated, I shrunk her Card for the coat and drew a stethoscope on around the neck...I thought this is one of my favorite creations!! Now, I'm going to give a shout out to my friend Heather. She is a great friend, some one you can count on, some one who will talk to you to whenever from 10- 4:30 in the morning :P, I am sooooooooooooooooo LUCKY to have met her at her first card work shop....give her some love here http://heathersheavinlystampations.blogspot.com/. I made this card, just b/c I HAD to use my gorjuss girls!!! I colored them of course, with my copics and used some stampin up paper, hobby lobby paper, and a stampin up roller. I also used some rub ons in the corner. Here are also some pics of my girls playing together...or Brownie hanging on to Zeze's hair has she gets dragged through the house. I think the are just like sisters. Zeze doesn't want to have anything to do with Brownie and Brownie wants to be everywhere Zeze is....just like siblings. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!!!! I'm off to take the boy's to libaray story hour, work (to show off the baby), the park, then over to my mom's to show the other kids, and at the end of the day...we have an Easter hunt...pics to follow :) I plan to also squeeze in some Heather time so the kids and her puppies can play with mine, plus a new movie I bought for Easton, Despereaux and maybe Heather and I can do some stamping :)!!!!

I took Easton to run some errands with me Saturday and he asked if we could stop by the pet store and look at the animals....and now we have a new puppy name Brownie. I thought Kev would be mad so I didn't tell him, surprisingly he loves her too!!! She's a Shitzu/Bichon mix and she was the runt. I feel like a new mother aging waking up every other hour to take care of the new addition. It's Easton's early birthday present, how could I saw no to those big brown eyes. Margaritas anyone???

Sorry it's been a few days, but I had a wreck and damaged my truck...oopps....I was hurrying to Zomba (my exercise class) from target on Tues and side-swiped a lady's car in the parking lot. Yes, the car was parked, no, I wasn't on my phone. I just hurried too fast and took a sharp turn in an extended bed truck...MY BAD!!! I put a huge dent in the truck's bed and smashed her fender.... Now I'll have to cut back on my stamp spending for a few months to pay off my damages...($2,ooo). Needless to say I didn't make it to exercise class, but I did have margratia's in my brother's hot tub!! Yesterday was my day off and I didn't have the lap top, so I didn't post, b/c it's too hard on my slow computer, so I posted quickly today!!! The boys and I hung out yesterday, here are some pics of my Easter card two different was (I've got about 7 more to make) and the boys drinking "margaritas" on the porch. I just used welchers strawberry breeze frozen drink mix and ice (a slushy), but it does make awesome margaritas, if you drink them...well got to get to work. Friday is almost here!!!!! P.S. I'm fine, just a little sore, shaken up, and a bruised self esteem....but I'll survive!!!!

Hi everyone, thanks for all the lovely comments you have all left me, it really makes my day!! I am just doing another quick post with some pics of Easton, DH, and I in the snow. After the 70 degree weather from last week it quickly turned into 2 feet of snow, only in Kansas could this happen. I made another rocker card...it is suppose to be Kid Rock with Pamela Anderson. Hi everyone IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!! She is a very kind, smart, creative, and VERY TALKITIVE...(we have a lot common) Girl. I met her at her first 60's card workshop and we have become friends ever since. What's up???? I am trying to get Easton to go to bed while I'm posting and it's not working very well!!!! We went on a hunt for Dinosaur eggs tonight and Easton was pretty upset that we didn't find any. He said " I looked and looked and I never saw any!!! I'm never going to find any Dinosaur eggs!!!!" They are soooo serious it cracks me up!!! Not to change the subject but my DH was in a grouchy mood...I don't know what his problem was, maybe he thought I spent too much time on this card, but come on Pink does ROCK!!!! I use the Ballerina head and a chunk of her hair stamped several times to make the Mohawk. Then I used the dress me little boy stripped shirt, the ballerina's tutu, the Miss Anya's legs * I added Heels, then I used the digi Alice and Wonderland's arm for a microphone and drew the stand, I drew some lips and I added the Pretty Hat Anya's bow to finish her off!!!! I totally love the way she turned out. The background is hobby lobby ds paper, and I didn't have my embossing gun so after I had already stamped the guitar and put the embossing powder I sprayed it with clear acrylic pain and it gave it a cool look I think. The letters are from a walmart Hanna Montana abc set, distressed the whole card and here it is!!!! Oh, I almost forgot the zebra stripped ribbon from Hobby lobby that has pink on the black, isn't it awesome!!!! Hope you all have a great day!!!! I'm Rockin' out!!!

Yes, it's true...Easton has diarrhea cha, cha, cha, and vomiting!!! Good thing that I have a very strong stomach!!! I did another take on the card I posted yesterday. I use to do this all of the time, I'd create 2 cards alike one for now and one for later and I always needed it shortly there after...today is my oldest brother's 5 year anniversary. He graduated from KSU so I thought purple and white were good together. Plus my Sister in law is a KU fan and it is always an ongoing fight, so I of course I went with KSU colors!!!! My ribbon and I had a little fight and I decided that it was a metaphor for marriage, you see, b/c sometimes you have to give and take, one side usually wins, sometimes b/c of all the work to make things better you get a little rough around the edges, but in the end you are together for ever and you make it work!!! Have a great weekend!!!

I have a touch of the flu...achy, tired, upset stomach....blah, blah, blah....I stayed home from work today but I got Ken (Kevin's Uncle) who is having minor knee surgery today done and now posted. It is a quick card and while I'm setting here with my stomach rumbling....I decided to post a few pics of what I've been up to lately. Sat. was Carson's birthday party so there are some pics from that, and then yesterday I watched an additional 5 kids on my day off. We did some cake making and card making b/c it was Huter's 6th birthday. I think I over extend myself and now I'm paying for it...or maybe it was the wild buffalo wings from Tuesday?? Anyways, hope your week is going well!!! I'm sure I'll be on my feet by Friday!!

Hi everyone...hope your week is off to a good one!!! I had an awesome "date night" last night while Easton went to play with the neighbor's great-grand kids. We watched Fallen, one of my favorite movies of good vs. evil. For some reason it really makes me think about life as we think we know it. As for my title..that is due to my new song that makes me dance and sing. It's a feel good song that has a chorus that you could sing all day, plus a very catchy beat. Life is good!! I made a few 6 Happy St. Patrick's day cards quickly b/c Easton woke up so that only left me 30 min. They're not the most creative and I didn't have my St. Patrick's day set, but they'll do!!! Well got to run, we are going to Celebrate Carson's 5th b-day tonight at Buffalo Wild Wings (his favorite restaurant). He was born on St. Patty's day so, Happy Birthday Little Man, I love you!!!

Well I've been having problems download to the greeting farm web site, I learned that my pics are too large...Heather said she'd come over and help me with that....some might say that I am computer challenged, I wouldn't argue!!!!! I finally go this card made this afternoon for my mother-in-law's best friend recently diagnosed with breast cancer (she is also and surgery nurse). F.Y.I. the slumber party was fun, except that Easton woke up at 5 am.....I was going to get up and post early but he put a damper on that. O'well we stamped together and then went to Teegan and Kanon's soccer games, and finally we got home after lunch, now nap time. Here in about 20 min. we'll head over to my sister-in-law's for Carson's b-day...never a dull moment!!!

I made this card for the Curious Card Challenge. We have a patient that has had some real struggles with his treatment and it's side effects, but his home health nurse has really impressed me!! I am going to mail this to her today to tell her how much I appreciate her taking the time and paying attention to all of his needs physically and mentally. I think as a nurse you can never be told enough how great you are and to be told by another nurse out of respect is even more wonderful. On a lighter note, I am having 4 kids come over for a slumber party tonight....could be interesting....

I am running out of time for lots of things these days, talking to my friends, posting, stamping, sleeping, cleaning...but somehow I always have time for working, taking care of kids, running errands, blah, blah, blah...I know BORING!!! I got my taxes done yesterday and somehow every time I hit the send button it reminds me of when I clicked finished on my Nursing test and my Oncology test....very scary!!! But DONE all the same, one way or another!!!! I took my brothers two Kids Teegan and Kanon with us to the library story hour and to the museum. They had fun inside b/c it was 20 degrees outside today and I was not about to play outside. However I find that the less we time we spend at home, the less I have to pick our home... :P We also went to the store for our bi-weekly grocery shopping. I picked up this awesome gift for my nephew Mason, who will be 1 this year, it's a superman sleeping outfit with a cape, I had to buy on for Easton and take some pictures (OF COURSE). Today is actually Mason's B-day, So happy b-day little guy.... I made this card out of the very first picture I took of him sleeping, it is still one of my favorite pics of him to date. I need to also make a card for my mother-in-law's friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer.... the other card I made was for our Nurse Practitioner who is having a b-day also this weekend I made it out of the label on the Tequila bottle mostly as a joke b/c she doesn't drink Margartias but when she asks what I would like that is always my first answer. Resa is one of my most favorite ladies....I have many, but she ranks up there very high. She has been an oncology nurse for 30 some years, needless to say she know just about everything there is to know about cancer. However she is learning about drinking lately with one of our patients told her he takes 3 shots of everclear and Resa thought it was a type of water, so see your never to old to learn, the content may just be a little different!!! On my list I also need to make her some earrings for as well as wrap us some Margartia glasses, not to mention I need to cut 3 maybe 4 guys' hair tonight and then we have Carson's b-day party (Mason's older brother) who will also need and card by sat.....did I mention I was running out of time....well....got to go!!! My Dr. is out Thursday afternoon and Friday sooooo PARTY in the DR. OFFICE!!!!!!

Thank you for your Prayers!!!! Kev's Aunt Mitsy had surgery yesterday and they said the preliminary report was benign!!!!!! I cased a card from the Stampin up mini...I loved the idea of peak-a-boo card. Mitsy is not real frilly, she is warm and kind I thought these colors represented her well, of course brown is always my go to color for warmth!!!! Easton Rocked out this am at 5:20, so it's a good thing I already had an idea of what to do, b/c by the time he's up and eats plus all of my am regimen to leave by 6:30 with a post is hard to get done...well I better go the truck leaves in T - 7 min. Today maybe a day w/o a card post..after working 10hours giving chemo, I went to Zoomba to relieve some stress, then I stopped by Tasha and Heather's house to pick up my share of work for the card party....I cut the cards while watching American Idol and finished about 1 am, so I didn't get up to early this morning, but when I did get up I picked up the house, washed the dishers and iglo coolers from the funeral, put all the things away including laundaray, made breakfast for Kanon and Easton...that was the work part of the day. At 9:15 we loaded up and went to Library story hour, ran home and packed to go to the boat club for lunch, then we visited my dad at school where the boys played on the chalk board and wore my dad's shop hats. They had sooo much fun and it is such a nice day here, again on my Wednesday off. I am now at my mom's watching the kids at her house 2 more 3 year olds and a 6 month old that needs a nap, or maybe that's just me!!! Anyways my bother Mace has a game this afternoon at 2 pm so I thought one of us should go, so I came to my mom's so she could go...needless to say after writing my weekly letter to my grandma (sometimes bi-weekly) I figured I'd put the pics since I don't have any card making supplies to make a card, sorry! But if you haven't read before I do this blog not just for you but for my son in case anything happens to me he could have a little piece of what his mom is all about!!! I don't plan on dieing but I do work in oncology so I know the possibility is out there so I am prepared!! Well the baby is crying I better go check on him, I forgot what this is all about having a 6 month old and all, EAston's going to be 4 soon!!! Go to go!!!

I hate being a DEBBIE DOWNER!!!!! I feel like everything I love and everything I care about is going to pot!!! Well, Kind of...I found out that Kev's aunt may have ovarian cancer and I went to a co-worker/friend/oncology nurse's funeral that past away from a brain tumor yesterday. Nothing like a big fat wonderful MONDAY!!! Marsha was my friends name and she was such a blast!!! I never worked with her that I didn't almost pee in my pants b/c she was making me laugh soooo hard. Sorry I had to put that but it was true!! She always had the funnest stories..one of my favorite stories was about a goat named ILean...because the goat's head was permanently leaned over to the left...anyways I will forever miss her and chuckle to myself at her stories. Kev's aunt is scheduled for surgery on Wed...so I will keep my hopes up, but I am an oncology nurse so I'm a little tainted...The card above was made by Teegan my niece she was upset b/c she messed up the eyes so I recommended that she use the booglie eyes and I think it turned out sooo cute. The other card I made for Aunt Soni, Kevin's other aunt that is almost like another mother in law...she rocks!!! Her husband's name is Ken and he makes fun of me and my markers..b/c I bring them over and color when we are all hanging out...I didn't have a Ian that I thought looked like him and they don't have a dog when I decided to use the pretty hat girl, ken said well I'm the Kendogg....and so I ran with it...and I love it!!! Well I love all of my cards even if I didn't make it on the Anya team :)!!!! I will just have to buy myself some more in my sorrow!!!

Easton made a card for the greeting farm, Anya Club Challenge. He picked out the colors, used the embossing machine, colored, cut, and applied the adhesive, plus he make the layout!!!! He's already an Awesome "scrapbooker" as he calls it. Now if the Anya Club would work so I could download the cards to their blog, anybody else having problems.

YEAH!!!! It's Saturday!!!! I am so thankful!!!! We are having a going away party for my younger brother Noah who plays for the Detroit Tigers minor league team. He will be going to Florida on Monday :( But we are happy that he's still playing) It has always been a dream for my brother and my whole family....now if only he could move up to the Majors, then he could float me a loan so we could completely remodel our home instead of having to move. :P I think our family likes what we've always known. My brother Noah had a ford explorer that he handed down to my baby brother Mace, which Mace ended up wrapping it around a pole in the school's parking lot, needless to say we still have the explorer in my Grandpa's shed. What I'm getting at is the Bank (whom I met with Wed.) won't give me a big enough loan to do all of the things I want to, to my 1920's house, but they would load me enough to buy a house that is already 3 times what my house is worth, but I don't want a new house. So either I fix what I can with what the will lend me or we keep looking for a new house. Why can't I be independently wealthy????? Well I better spend some time with my son who is starving for attention as well as my husband, what would they ever do without me???? By the way, thanks for stopping by, I need to figure out some blog candy...my numbers are over 1,000...and everyone likes free stuff!!! But 500 of these numbers might be myself double checking my blog since I'm dyslexic.

Don't you just love when a creation comes to life??? I had this great idea to make a graffiti background with a ramp in front. Well I was working on this idea when I got a call about 8:45pm that my sister-in-law was in really bad back pain. So I assessed her over the phone and told her to go to the ER and Easton headed over to spend the night...so I also brought over my copics, ink, paper, glue runner....to finish my creation, don't you just love my obsession (this is my outlet for stress by the way)!!!! It is now 11pm and my the just took Marcee back and I now have 2 kids asleep, but Easton hasn't given it up yet...I just heard him Yawning so it won't be long!!! I used black magic on this card after I scored the lines across the base of the card horizontally with a ruler and a score tool on top of a mouse pad and made hash marks vertically....then I distressed the background with white ink. I have one more creation to try, but I may just settle and turn in a few creations that I've already posted. I may have to retake this pictures with my camera...I don't know if I like how they turned out, but they will have to do for now!!!!

Well I tried to use the inspiration, mosly I used the red and white and of course another Ian!!! If you can't tell, I'm totally in love with the Greeting farm!! I made this card for Easton b/c he was sooooo good at the Dr. office and at Walmart when we had to wait an addtion hour and a half after already shopping for an hour just to get 2 medications.....he was Awesome. We played had and seek with some plastic eggs at Walmart to "make the time not drag"!! We also had a picnic and hid eggs outside, it was georgous outside. Today I also made a card for my boss, but I'll have to post that later because I forgot to take a picture of it.....Easton was sick today, he has bronchitis. He has been coughing for 5 days and I decided that enough is enough...but, I had a hard time staying home today because my neighbor and my mother-in-law's best friend are seeing my Dr. as new patients, plus my favorite patient also comes on Tuesdays, but I'm sure they will be well taken care of w/o me but still I like to be there for them, I'll keep them in my prayers and on my mind!!!! Well...now I'm done with my daily (almost daily) post, time to blog hop!!!

We had a great time at my Grandma's house, the kids and I went on "adventure" as Easton would say. We went into several of my Grandpa's barn's and found some fun things. Needless to say, we got dirty, but had fun. I made this card for the Anya Club to try and win some free stamps and I found some inspiration here http://www.thegreetingfarm.com/galleria/showphoto.php?photo=1047 and cased her card...I love the way it turned out!!! I used buttons and thread and had fun stitching the edge...(I took some close up's for more details), I got the torn edge idea from Chelsey Cook, I love her layouts AMAZING!!! Last night we went to Kev's Aunt Soni's house and I of course took my Copics to color all of the Anyas and Ians that I spent Friday at the conference cutting out...(bottom Pic) Anyways Aunt Michelle was coloring with my stampin up markers for the first time and she colored the cowboy and I made a Cowgirl in purple for K-State (her favorite color) and colored the horses to match her horses she was thrilled. I'm going to mail this on Monday, and I know that she'll love it. Her husband's name is Mark, therefor the M and M ranch...Well off to Grandma's House!!!

Well, I don't know about you but I'm soooo glad it's S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y!!!! I just finished my Dreaming Ian and I'm sooo proud of him, I already e-mailed him to the greeting farm...but now I need to get finished on my new designs!!!! I made him for the Birthday party of Bobby, Kevin's cousin tonight. It started out as a joke b/c his mom made him a white cake with sprinkles and pink frosting sooo, I played off that and made Ian sleeping in pink hearts with pink shorts...just a joke but with the black hair, I really like how it turned out!!! Easton is taking a nap, I think he might be getting a touch of what everyone else has had this winter... He now just has a cough and hopefully that's all he gets!!! I don't know much but I need to plan some vacation time!!! We are thinking about planning a trip to Az. I've never been and Kevin's dad lives down their...so they can show us around (Kev and I end up mad at each other b/c neither of us know how to get around in big cities). However for Christmas my mom bought us one of those map things for the car, if we could just figure out how to work it :)!!!! My neighbor who is 78 fell yesterday and has to come see our oncologist on Tuesday, so she could use some prayers!!! We have been taking them dinner and she seems better other then the bump on her head, bruise on her arm, and sore hip, I can't wait to get old.....well I better take advantage of the time and stamp before Easton wakes up, I have 2 more Birthday cards to create before tomorrow, which is my GRandma's birthday!!!

When I color my Ian's and Anya's I don't want to give them away b/c I'm afraid that whom ever they go to will throw them away and after all of my effort to make them sooooo cute...I just hate to part with them, I try to find a special home for them but I also know that they can't keep my cards for ever, so a solution...why not make them laminate? with a magnet on the back so the person could use them and not just have them setting around...or if the get enough of them from me the could have some "little dolls" for their child to play with!!! Yeah!!! Now I can sleep at night!!!! Hope you have a great Thursday!!! I have Zoomba tonight and then Gray's Anatomy, and maybe spa time, plus a margarita :)!!!!

Last night I went to Zoomba (an exercise class) and then we went to my brother's to set in their hot tub, and then I invited Kanon to spend the night (I am truly crazy), we took Easton's tent downstairs and had a party, the boys loved it!!! We went to story hour today and then to Burger King to eat and play in their play land. Then back home for painting and then a nap!!! Yeah!!! I love nap time!!!! I quickly picked up the house, put the laundry away, swept the floors and did the dishes so that I could make some cards. I was trying to come up with something Awesome for the Anya DT, but I don't think this is my best card...so I'll try again....it always seems the harder I try to make some thing creative the less it actually works..but I love trying!! Today I took Easton to a birthday party @ Jumpin Jay's. The have big aired up things that the kids can jump on, slide down and climb on.... He had a blast, we were invited the night before so I whipped up a quick family favorite present. I got a balloon and this time I stamped the image that I made the card with from the Pink Cat Farm Animals set with Stazon ink, I roll up some money and then stick it in the balloon and fill it up with water. (It's a great summer birthday present) Easton and I also made a birthday card with ducks behind clear acetate paper and then colored in the Duck with stampin up markers...I should have used my copics the color sooooo much better, Easton also wanted to use the cuttle bug...it's his favorite scrapbooking tool. At the birthday party, I really wanted a picture of Easton with the Helmet in the boxing ring I climbed in the ring and helped him with the hat and as I was taking the picture he clocked me... got to love the boys!!! I also had to take a picture of him after the birthday girl's mom gave him a camera to take some pics with he went and grabbed a little girl he "thought was cute" and her hold still so he could take her picture, and she posed for him, What a Womanizer at 3!!!! We also played outside with bubbles..it was cold but I bought some for Valentine's day and he wanted to, I'm such a sucker!!! He also rode his bike around and to get him to take a picture I had to say " Are you trying to run over me and then it was a game to see if I could take the picture before he ran me over, typical boy!!! Over all a great day, though the sermon could have had a little more meaning for this week....I need to get a good woman's bible, and suggestions?

Well, my Grandpa looked better and is feeling better. You know they don't feel well when they ask to go to the hospital...they were still doing some tests on him after I left at 1pm and we are waiting for results. My problem is that I worked in ICU for 2 years and now in oncology at a Clinic and in both places I would get results ASAP!!! Almost every test we order for that day we get results w/in an hour or less. So when someone I love is in the hospital, it is one of the hardest things for me is to be patient when I know how long it takes to get results!!!!!!! So I'm trying to wait and find out, but it sucks not knowing what we are dealing with. Anyways I have a few more scrapbook pages to share and I finished this yesterday, but I still have a few pages to share tomorrow. Easton LOVED the book by the way, we read it and read it, and read it. He said it was his favorite book, of course that totally sunk my heart...well back to work I go...tonight Zoomba class. (a dance/exercise class) Hope you have a great Thursday and thank you for your prayers!!!

A long time ago, my friend and I (we both happen to be Emily's) took our sons to the ZOO and had the idea to make her son, Eathan and my son, Easton an ABC book from the Zoo, well I am just now working on it, but I also added some pictures that I took when we went again with my husband...here they are, I had a hard time not getting a bright flash and I am in a big hurry this am, as I always am to get my son ready to go to my brothers...and it's raining here. Easton was helping me with the layouts, so they are simple and quick...because we had to move fast, more to come....

Well I woke up this morning to visit the bathroom several times and cleaned the back room at 4 am and I just finished my first card with Alice and her wonderland... I was going to hurry and head to meet my mom to go visit Grandpa, who has been really sick lately.... However, as I was getting ready, I had to visit the bathroom again and now my stomach is really turning...so I may just stay home and do some resting. We had family over last night to enjoy Kevin's awesome smoked RiBS (my personal favorite), my house is fairly clean b/c everyone left at 9ish, so I picked up last night....YEAH and my brother Mace who is living with us while he plays ball at the Jr. College here in town, volunteered to take care of the hardwood floors today...even less for me to do!!! I made a card this morning for DH who I love very much and though he doesn't act like he likes my stamping I truly believe he has an appreciation for it. I bought my own Anyas and Ians and am sooooooooo excited to get them hopefully on Wednesday!!! I will totally Rock out my designs...I don't know who won last night b/c my son and I went to be early, we were both grouchy after staying up to late Saturday night. My husband smoked some brisket and we both had our families over to eat and sit by the chimnea or however you spell it. The girls and Easton went to Hobby Lobby and I restrained from buying copics, now they are on sale so I don't know if I can help myself...my poor DH what would he ever do w/o me?????

When she cheered at the local JUCCO she felt very self conscious about her pale white legs and her bright red hair, but it just made her more original and I love her for that...

We (Heather,Tasha, and I are planning a card party in March and I have been trying to get a few cards done for it. I came up with one for the Mothers, (which has the Stitched background by stampin up that you can't see for the base and then the Bella stamp), the next one was for the boys using the dinosaurs stamp from stampin up and finally one for friends using She's all that from stampin up and boho backgrounds...they are simple yet eye pleasing, I think....
Now for the family details..this was the first day of Story Hour for this year, they read books about Kansas and made sunflowers while I checked out books and talked to Heather about my new copics....Which I am sooooooooooooooooooo excited to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I colored only one stamped image that I will make a card out of later. Easton was calling him "baby easton" and putting him to sleep under other pieces of paper. Whatever his little creative mind wants to do with my stamped images....the other night I made 4 campers and stamped images that Easton was putting in them, I'll have to get a photo of that :) We were playing "scrapbooking" as he likes to call it. He sits on my lap and I stamp, he also stamps and mostly plays with what I create....it works. Anyways we went to the museum where Easton played for awhile but the boiler was broken so we didn't stay as long as planned...they have different areas for youngsters dress up and become someone of the past. They have a clothes line, a little house with olden parts like an ice box and a cast iron stove, plus a country store, old school, things you would have seen on "little house on the prairie". I ran some errands, stamped while Easton took a nap, cleaned, went to the store, ate, gave Zeze the dog a bath, cleaned the house, and sat down to watch American Idol....while organizing my pile of paper and putting backing on my Lilly and Billy stamps...now time for bed!!! I am on my brothers laptop laying with Easton as I do every night along with reading books and saying prayer, Easton wanted to know who I am writting this to and so I read it to him, he wanted me to add that he played with playdough. He wanted to know if we are going to put this letter outside "to mail it", I am going to explain to him that this is as much for him as anyone. Because I work in Oncology, I know that all of our days are numbered, so if anything every happens to me, my son will have something to remember "ME". This is me.

Here is my LIFE........ Yesterday was a eventful day to say the least, Easton woke up at 6 am and ate pancakes. Kanon came over around 8ish and we mixed up cupcakes. We picked up Cindy for some shopping (by the way I admire any one with Twins !!!!). We went to Dillions, 2 banks, and Target by the time we dropped off Cindy it was lunch time. I made lunch and my good friend Marci came over with her new boyfriend to visit. The boys laid down for a nap and I worked on a few cards. I put away laundry, cleaned out 2 cupboards, and was starting another when the boys woke up..... We all made frosting and decorated the cupcakes and then went to the park. Kanon went home and I started supper. We ate and I gave Eason a bath and then it was idol time....plus i made some jewelry. My brother's girlfriend asked me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding (I'm honored )....so good thing I'm getting in shape. Now it's time to plan her bachelorette party!!!!!!

So I've been trying to follow my up line's guide to making cards for an upcoming card party, however I am having trouble only using 2 colors plus white....it usually is not hard for me, but when there are rules...I have a hard time following. I put on my newest hobby making jewelry and scrapbooking combined :) and I love it. I made these little charms out of scrapbook paper, jewels, and some words...I totally love this new hobby!!! I am sorry I was such a downer before but don't we all get that way at some point? My husband fell off of a truck on his back this week and he hasn't been up to his usual, which I'm sad to say is beginning to be way more than me :( I realize how lost I'd be without him, I should probably tell him that, or maybe I'll keep it a secret awhile longer....well I better clean up while my pictures are down loading, thanks for stopping by...buzz

I was reading Glamour this morning and I have been pretty depressed for my standards lately. Our work environment has been really depressing with patients passing away, a nurse with a brain tumor that use to work here and co-workers with bad attitudes....let alone family that have severe medical problems, not to mention my 2 miscarriages. I am writing this not to make anyone feel sorry for me but to vent and get somethings off my mind and on to paper. I am usually a very outgoing bubbly person who doesn't let things get her down. But lately it has just been too much. I have also considered changing churches, but I've been going to this church for 27 years so it is going to be another hard decision, that I'm not sure I can make now on top of everything...anyways about Glamour, I was reading about the top women to watch and they had interviewed some women that were on there previously. Kennedy Shriver had an AWESOME quote that really inspired me..."DO THE BEST YOU CAN, AND THEN TO HELL WITH IT!!!" I totally love it because that is really all you can do, and that is the note I'm leaving on, I'll try and post some pics tonight after I take Easton swimming :)!!!

Well, I'm having problems getting the pictures on here....but I think they will be here shortly.....I made some thank you cards and some birthday cards using one of my favorite sets "All about U" and my newest set Bella Blossom. The boys (Kanon and Easton ) took a nap and I got 22 thank yous made and 4 birthday's/thank yous made!!!!! As Easton would say, I so proud of you!!!! We went to Soni's and made supper and now the boys are playing wii. Easton is playing play dough and fixing us something to eat :) well that does it, now I need to address these and get them sent, then more scrap booking. I have also ordered some soldering things so I'll be sharing that as soon as I figure it out, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas, a day late!!! I am up drying my hair as I get ready to go see my mother in law prior to her surgery to get rid of the nerve pain that her back surgery caused.....so I decided why not a quick post since I woke up at 3:22AM, I figured I would fall back asleep if I didn't get up then so I did. Hi all, I just have a quick post....my mother in law just had back surgery and I make her some cards. I ended up making my favorite card EVER...Easton always says "I love you this much" and then puts out his arms as wide as he can. It is the sweetest thing. I make this card to mimic him, it doesn't do the card justice... but it is sooo cute and I am totally in love with how it turned out. Maybe I'll try to take a different photo. I finished another scrapbook and made a card for my mother in law Cindy who just had a 3rd back surgery, keep her in your prayers. I wanted something bright and colorful and I TRIED THE SEWING MACHINE.....it went ok, but I need some work. I also used some buttons from my great grandmother NELLY's trunk I found in her basement!!!!! It turned out great!!!! HI world, sorry I haven't posted lately, I have been busy reading TWILIGHT, having another miscarriage and hanging out with my 3 year old, but I just finished my simple Christmas cards, yet when you make 50 or so cards you need something easy!!!!! So here they are and I also posted some pics of what it painted on Easton last night after cutting 2 guys hair....Easton wanted to be a rainbow giraffe, so whatever he wants...it's snowing out and now Easton says "is winter" he has been having a cold/sore throat and yet that doesn't stop him from wanting to go outside to play in the snow and being the nurse mom, that's not an option.....so we'll have to hang out inside.....well I have to make lunch.

I just wanted you to know that I've been studying for my Oncology Certification Test that is coming up very soon and I haven't had time to post, but I promise I will, I have made things I just don't get the picture taken before I give it away....Easton has also started 3 year old basketball practice which takes away one night plus extra shooting and dribbling, and then there will be games....I have also been sleeping a ton, I guess I don't remember being pregnant, I forgot how tired I get and moody I get when I'm pregnangt...I had a miscarriage this year so they are watching my blood levels very frequently (which is very stressful) and my progesterone has dropped so they started me on pills 3 times a day, however my Beta HCG level are going up so that's encouraging (most of my friends that read this are nurses )...I already have a hard time remembering my prenatals let alone 3 more pills...... But if it keeps me from miscarrying, I WILL NOT FORGET!!!! I plan on taking Easton to the park today if he wakes up soon, it's almost 4 and we fell asleep at 1, not that I'm complaining, I got my studying done, some blogging, answered my e-mail and now typing a quick blog....So that 's about it for me, I have Dr. appointment on Mon. 17th hopefully they see the baby and maybe a heartbeat....I 'll keep praying!!!! Thanks for adding me to your prayers and I'll get something cool up there to look at, I ordered 3 new sets 2 from Pink cat studio and one animal alphabet set that is going to be so much fun!!!! I've been working with Easton on spelling his name and I say how do you spell your name and he says " tos-ton" and I ask what does your name start with and he says "an E" and I say so how do you spell your name and he says "tos-ton", He get the cutest grin and I wonder if he is being like his father and just trying to make me upset because this continues for 15 mins and then I give up....the point of this story is that we are studying letters and I tried to do 4 letters at a time and then decided to do one letter a week, so I totally justified the alphabet set....I can make him a card a week using the letter!!!! It has been, as expected a long weekend and I must say, I ROCK!!! I got the house cleaned x 3 times plus (it still needs some work), an awesome b-day party for my husband, spent time with my wonderful friends and family, helped cook and feed around 40 people....plus some, came up with the best gifts for my husband, went to the park with Easton and got my sister-in-law's scrapbook done!!! My gifts were a cross necklace that my husband has been saying that he wanted and I totally surprised him with a box and inside the box was a positive pregnancy test that I had tested on Thursday....Yes, it was very hard for me to keep a secret!!!! He was very, very surprised and we are both scared because 5 months ago I had a miscarriage and still have some down moments. I decided to tell the family and close friends b/c regardless of what happens I want them to know and I want to be excited. I am approximately only 4 weeks, or 5 now and very tired ( I got in a 3 1/2 hour nap today...but no stamping :( done.... ) my theory on the pregnancy is hope for the best, prepare for the worst and take what God gives me and this is what I plan to do!!!!! Here are some pictures from Halloween, birthday party, scrapbook and of course Easton. I did make a couple of cards and I'll try to post them, there is also a funny story. On Halloween morning after Kevin had opened up his gifts, Easton got out the scale and told Kevin to weigh himself because he was getting bigger, you got to love them!!!! I had to add a picture of my younger brother's girlfriend and her sisters that all fell asleep in the living room at the end of the party, they were worn out!! I have been working on the scrapbooks every year my sister in law comes over and we get our scrap on, we make 8 6x6 albums for aunts, grandma's and other family members....here is a sneak peak, because I have been studying this is about all I can add at the time. Halloween is in 1 day and that means Kev's b-day party is this Saturday!!!!! I still haven't gotten him anything for his birthday and it doesn't look real promising. He says he doesn't want anything but he is like a kid, he expects presents for his birthday....so I must come through...plus I still have to go to the store and get food for the party, o'yea and clean my house....plus squeeze in Easton time, carve pumpkins, bring in the rest of my flowers before the freeze and..........you get the drift. I'm not sure that anybody but Heather really even looks at my blog so I'll just say that if you want to know what I used, just ask, it is usually hobby lobby paper and stamps or stampin up paper and stamps....

Lauren's Saturday Sketch

Well we had a really fun weekend my friend Julie and I went to an Oncology review course and had tons of fun. We went out after working 10hours, and driving for 4 to 5 hours, we had a couple of drinks and boy do they fix them strong in Neb.!!!! Just when the night was about over, I saw some people setting in the hot tub that closed @ 10, seeing that it was after 1am, we decided to get our swimsuits and go for a little while, at 2am we went to bed and woke up @ 7am to get the meeting. The speaker was so AWESOME, I didn't even come close to going to sleep!!! After the 9 hour meeting we went shopping, at you guessed it, a scrapbook store and found some sweet stamps that I just used today. We shopped and ate a restaurant and left around 8pm, we should have arrived @ 1 am, but we got a little lost, because I was talking and Julie was listening, so we got home at 3 am....fun, then to the pumpkin patch at 9am the next day and that is always a blast. The rest of the weekend was a blur, eating, going to the store, and going to church, plus picking up and doing laundry. I woke up this am at 5 to do some "projects" however Easton woke up too...so I had to finish them this evening while we caught up on some shows that have been taped....here they are the first was for 2 of my bosses, and the second will become some thank yous and birthday cards using Lauren's Saturday sketch....I used some patterned paper from hobby lobby, I used stamps from stampin up besides the Saturday sketch and that was a set from the store in Neb., I usually use basic colors, pink,brown, silver, white, and pink again

Here are some pictures of us making cupcakes for Aunt Soni's 50th Birthday!!!! I also made a thank you to Heather Schlattler for the B-Day gift she gave me and a sympathy card for a patient who's husband past away. All of the paper is stamping up, except the patterned paper on the bear card, it was clearance at Hobby Lobby and both stamp sets are from stamp in up, the bear card is Under the Stars a new set in the current catalog and the other is a set I have never used that is a retired stampin up hostess set from last year....thanks for looking

Last night I decided to change my blog to make it more colorful...and change the layout, my eyes were tired and I didn't read the fine print that if I changed the layout, I would deleate my previous saved items...so my pictures went, bye bye!!! It's been a very long week!!! Where do I begin, It's been a the week of goodbyes, My dad's sister died and so I made some sympathy cards for his other sisters, then 2 of my co-workers are leaving us so I made some earrings and cards for them the pictures are below. I have some pics of my family at the boat club and of my brother giving driving lessons in to Easton in the driveway...good times. I took some 3 year olds to the zoo and story hour on my day off. We had 2 going away parties..Thurday and on Friday, plus I went to Hobby Lobby 3 times this week and got some AWESOME deals!!! On Sat., after CPR class, I went to the K-State game and that was a blow out, after planning weekend to myself to scrap..why is it that when we have plans to scrapbook it never happens? I had to clean on Sunday and then I went to the park and zoo with my family. I also went to my friend Heather's to her stamp club and made some sweet projects...now, I need to get to bed because work is just a few hours away!!!em

PS. does anyone have some clues on how to take better card pics? I tried them on my stove under a bright light...I guess I need to call Heather...

My friend Heather tagged me and I'm suppose to tell you 7 things about me that are random or weird...so here they are
1. The heal of the bread is my favorite piece
2. I like to organize and clean for fun
3. I can speak Texas maw-maw ( a language my dad learned in Texas that he teaches to his baseball team to trick the other team and make them mad)
4. I use to show sheep in 4-h
5. I wanted to be a body builder, psychologist, interior designer, optometrist, or professional shopper when I grew up, now I'm a nurse
6. My son is named after a baseball bat (Easton) and my dad's middle is Allen so naturally Easton's is too, my husband told me when we were dating that he wanted that name before we even considered getting married.
7. My husband is the only man that I introduced myself too, he was so hot and I just had to meet him even though my best friend told me he was a player and at the moment in my life I just wanted to date and not be in a serious relationship...I guess god has his own plan!!!

We went to the boat club this weekend so I got no scrap booking/card making done, I stayed up till 3am in the morning with my younger brother just hanging out by the campfire, everyone else had went to bed but we just talked, and talked, and talked...he has just gotten back home from playing for a minor league team of the Detroit tigers, I've really missed him. One other random fact, each of my 3 brothers at one time or another has lived with me, yes my family is really that close!!!! The funnier thing is that my mom and dad only live 15 min. away but we are 3 min. from a Jr. college so my brother's (Noah and Mace) could just run to my home in between class, practice and return to school faster. I was going to really try to get Lauren Meader's sat. sketch done, she was the first person I ever went to that I absolutely loved her stuff she ROCKS!!!, but I took a 4 hour nap instead. Although I don't really know her there are some crazy similarities to our personalities...we'll my son has gotten over being sick he is now really winy....I think he must be growing he has been sleeping alot, but it isn't enough judging by the sound in his wine...I will attempt to tag some one....well..these are my favorite blogs....

Well, I uploaded pictures to the blog, but I don't get how to place them. I was off this week till tomorrow b/c It's MY B-DAY....well it was yesterday, we went to Exploration place on Monday and also went shopping, imagion that and we had big plans to do fun things on Tuesday and Wednesday, but Easton got sick with the flu bug so for my birthday I got throw up, diarrhea and a really hot child, but that's life....needless to say we haven't left the house! hello all,
I am trying this for the first time and i don't know what i am doing....so here goes nothing, or something....my friends are now bloggers and they tell me it's like therapy, we'll see if it's therapy or stressfull. I am doing good to get my pictures to walmart to get delevoped let alone make my on blog and send pics there too....i'm not the typical computer savvy 20-something year old...speaking of which, to day is my birthday and after a morning of shopping my 3 year old son Easton started chilling and running a fever so we quickly ended our shopping and came home, he later threw up on me and kept appoligizing, poor thing as he was laying in his bed he used his little hand and stroked my face and with his red swollen eyes looked at me and said today is your birthday mommy, happy birthday, I love you....made my heart melt.....well I'm going to see where this goes, Later
